From Connecticut
From Hartford: Route 91 north to Massachusetts Turnpike West (Interstate 90). Massachusetts Turnpike west to exit 2 in Lee, MA. Turn left at the exit ramp and then right under the overpass onto Route 102 to Stockbridge. In Stockbridge turn left onto Route 7 south. Proceed south to Great Barrington (about 10 miles). There will be three stop lights before the brown bridge; at this light turn left onto Main Street. After three more stop lights, Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home is approximately 500 yards on your right on South Street. Our sign is visible from Main Street. Turn right onto South Street and then left into the parking lot.
Alternate Route from Hartford: Route 44 west from West Hartford to Canaan, CT (about 35 miles); turn right onto Route 7 north at the center of the village at the light. Proceed north through Sheffield (about 16 miles) on Route 7 until the next traffic light, in Great Barrington (about 7 miles). Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home is approximately 300 yards on the left.
From Bridgeport: Route 8 north to Winstead, CT. Turn right at the light onto Route 44 west. Route 44 west to Canaan, CT (about 16 miles). Turn right onto Route 7 north at the center of the village at the light. Proceed north through Sheffield (about 16 miles) on Route 7 until the next traffic light, in Great Barrington (about 7 miles). From Stamford Area: Merritt Parkway east to Route 8 north, to Winstead, CT. Turn right at the light onto Route 44 west. Route 44 west to Canaan, CT (about 16 miles). Turn right onto Route 7 north at the center of the village at the light. Proceed north through Sheffield (about 16 miles) on Route 7 until the next traffic light, in Great Barrington (about 7 miles). From New York City: (three options, depending on starting point)
- Route 95 north to Route 287 east to Route 684 north. In Brewster, NY, 684 runs into Route 22 north. Take Route 22 north to Hillsdale, NY. Turn right at the light onto Route 23 east. At the next stop light, in Great Barrington (about 18 miles), turn left onto Main Street. Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home is approximately 300 yards on the left.
- Henry Hudson Parkway turns into the Saw Mill River Parkway which turns into the Splain Parkway, which turns into the Taconic State Parkway north to the Route 23 exit in Claverack, NY. Turn right onto Route 23 and continue to Hillsdale, NY. Go straight through the light in Hillsdale. At the next stop light, in Great Barrington (about 18 miles), turn left onto Main Street. - From the George Washington Bridge to the Garden State Parkway north to the New York Thruway north to the Route 23 exit in Cairo/Catskill, NY. take Route 23 east to Great Barrington (about 35 miles).
